Its all good (faster etc) except the only problem is that when i connect my laptop to the router it says it has 'limited or no connectivity'. How can i sort this out?

You need to go in to the advanced properties and delete the wireless network from the list. Then close it then open up the find network connections again then type the WEP/WPA key in again.

Limited or no connectivity is generally because the key is typed in wrong. It is probably on the router in hexidecimal format, which uses the letters A-F and the numbers 0-9.

Sorted it, called my friend. We tried that but it didnt work so he made me change the wireless channel and it worked

Must of clashed with a neighbours wireless. Very rare that it happens..
