Well I did loads of the side mission stuff, have spent about 12 hours on it I think. I don't think I can be arsed to play it again which means I either get a 360 version of ME2 or just get the PC version and "answer the questions".

Obviously the plot won't allow for Kaiden/Ashley to both be alive and Wrex doesn't really matter?

Just found out wrex does matter (you meet his dad in 2).

Think im near the end now, about to go on the 'suicide mission'. I think its an amazing game. Definately would suggest completing the first one before playing this one. Good story line, and the way that your decisions effect it is done really well. Might even go back through number 1 and choose different paths so that number 2 is different.

Just completed the game. Towards the end is epic. Have to choose exactly who does what and stuff. Another big choice at the end. Mass Effect 3 should be pretty awesome. Dunno when it will be released, guessing not for a while seeing as 2 has only just been released. But i will definately be getting it when it is.

That was quick. I thought Mass Effect was one of those 20 hours+ games.

According to the new Steam UI ive played 18hours on it... I dont do all the shitty side missions though, just the ones that seem like they would help. Can be as long as you want to play it. And also you can do more playthroughs, like on borderlands, to get your character stronger for mass effect 3.

Yeah, I think you can spend up to 30 hours easily if you do all the side stuff. I wouldn't bother on mass Effect 1 though it's just not worth it. Stick to the main story. Think i'll give 2 a go sooner or later because its getting a lot of good feedback. Nothing will ever beat the first time I played through Knights of the Old Republic for the first time on Xbox. Did 52 hours or something from getting it Friday afternoon through to Sunday night lol.

I miss playing games like that, i seem to spend more time researching RPG's to make sure im doing things "right" instead of just playing it...
