The Walking Dead

Post by skeletor »

Set to air at the end of October, directed by Frank Darabont (Shawshank Redemption, The Mist, The Green Mile).
The Walking Dead is based on the similarly named comic book and tells the story of a group of survivors after a zombie apocalypse.

Just finished the first episode, looks like it should be really good.

Didn't realise Sarah Wayne-Callies is in it as well!!

"AMC's new zombie drama The Walking Dead debuted to 5.3 million viewers, the largest audience for any original series on the network.

"It's a good day to be dead," said AMC President Charlie Collier. "We are so proud of this series, its depth of storytelling and the remarkable talent attached."

I assume that was when they were chopping up the zombie to smear the blood and guts on them.

Ep3 has it's moments but not as gruesome as that.

hmm starting to get my doubts about it now... it seems like every zombie film ive ever seen mixed with left for dead mixed up... misses isnt in to either.. could be a no go for us this one... im having trouble with the plot abit ...and zombies are anoying... shuffling about really slow..then jumping over fences and running the next.... ill carry on for a bit..

It's alright, not as great as I thought it would be though, still worthy of a watch.

Season is finished, not back on until next Autumn.

All the writing staff have been fired by Frank Darabont which is probably a good thing as he can do more.

It finished without any clear indication of what was going to happen next and has been disappointing since the premier but still better than some shows that are on.
