Played fine for me with the mouse - but i use the 360 controller on the PC, as like you said, tis just better.

And if you are gonna use the controller for the pc then there is NO contest. Pc version wins hands down. Looks terrible on console....

Unless you're PC has a poxy little monitor and the PC itself is not going to run it that well. Then I think I'll run it on xbox. At the end of the day Fallout 3 was "better" on PC yet I have spent well over 100 hours on it on Xbox. And at £22, forget ordering it, I am actually going in store (shock!!) this afternoon to get it.

At least on Xbox one thing I see as a pro rather than a con is that you play it how it is meant to be played rather than getting tempted with mods etc. I know there are a few bugs (like Skels inability to go shopping in town ) but hopefully I will get lucky.

At the end of the day people are spending hours and hours on this game, by the time I actually get a decent comp Skyrim will be a historic event. (Unless I get a loan after xmas for a car and decide to spend less on the car ;))

PC would definetly win if it was downstairs on my TV. Even a 24" monitor is too small to appreciate the graphics.

For some reason I hadn't even thought of using my 360 controller despite using it for Cthulhu.

Virtually every shout I have gained has been a new one rather than an upgrade to an existing one except for fire breath. I have been finding the walls randomally, haven't done many of the greybeard missions.

Enchant is just a matter of enchanting shit loads of those daggers you made.

Been playing on PC for a couple of hours today with the 360 controller and the game is much better now, don't know how people play it with the mouse, annoying as fuck.

Loading and saving times are a lot better. I never see more than one bit of text on the loading screens on the PC but on the 360 there are normally between 3-5 different messages. On PC going in or out of Breezehome is about a second, on the 360 it's around 20-30 seconds.

It does keep on crashing to desktop though with no errors, but that may be down to all the mods etc.

I bought it for Xbox on Friday. Spent few hours on it do far just finding things out. Went for Breton myself, I like magicka on elder scrolls.

Have to admit I wouldn't hesitate to put it on a PC given the chance. But Xbox looks much better than I thought it would! Can only begin to imagine what it looks like on PC. Shame about the mouse situation as I'd rather nt use a controller of I could help it.

I played it again on the 360 last night and suddenly realised how shit it looks and how annoyingly long the loading screens are.

I loaded the same game and had time to go upstairs for a piss and come down and it was still loading then once it had loaded it looked like Borderlands (cel-shaded) compared to the PC version.
