Post hoc ergo propter hoc
Correlation does not imply causation
We haven't been recording or polluting things anywhere near long enough to know whether it is CO2 emissions causing temperature changes. Millions of years of earths history and we've been screwing it over for what, 100 years?
I remember on Frozen Planet they had some pictures of glaciers 60 years ago and now. They had receeded a long way back from where there original end was. But how do we know it isn't part of a larger cycle? Most of us will live somewhere between the age of 70-100 if we're healthy (so Sparks, you aint got long chap
) so things will chance to a state that we have not seen before, but it doesn't mean it is out fault. I just don't think that people are willing to accept something
may have a "cycle" that is more than one earth year unless you look outside Earths atmosphere and possibly beyond our solar system.
I'm with Sparks, global warming is made up. I bet my life that temperatures will drop again. And even if they don't I don't give a fuck because my life will be over long before it matters whether or not my bet is won or lost
The End.
