the woman in black

Talk about films etc. 1 film per thread. Lets keep it tidy.

If I saw that as a synopsis for a film on iMDB, I think I would probably watch it.

I don't want to read the spoilers because I might ignore Blaze and go cinema tomorrow night. I like the mind fuck thriller films rather than the gratuitous violence type anyway. Films like Stir of Echoes, that creeped me out the first time I watched it. I was about 14 I think. Or Creep, not scary, but the tension and atmosphere is better, same goes for Rec, but the Spanish version was better and I haven't seen the sequel. Films like Saw you're just waiting for the next grotesque moment and films such as the Final Destination series you're just waiting for the next make you jump moment.

I haven't watched the Paranormal Activity films, which category do they fall into?

I've gone well off topic. Sorry.

Saw (at least the first one) was about more than the gore. It was actually pretty clever. Hostel on the other hand was just pure gore and completely unnecessary as well as being a shit film.

it is a good old spooky story.. i watched the original back in the late 80s maybe 1990... i had been to a rave and had ingested some MDMA ...there is a bit when the woman in black comes right up to the screen.. i nearly pooed myself and had like a mad e- rush at the same time....

Yes the first Saw was actually a good clever film. The rest were not.

You should start up your own website where you do a one line synopsis of the films you have seen in that style.
