1)Norton constantly beats AVG in detection rates.
2) You say that AVG has found everything for you, how do you know it has? It may have completely missed some... 8)
well it only found one for me and couldnt open the file.. couldnt quarentine it.. couldnt fix it... absolute shite . i found it and got rid of it myself...

agv has always fixed any found... doesnt interfere with other programs like norton does....doesnt tell me my year is up..and want wedge... cos its frreeeeee 8)

Well i put kaspersky on, bit fancy for me. i just want summit to do its job not tell me about it and give me options. All this technical stuff like "Scanning" and "Updating".

But more seriously, seems ok so far. BUT things like training email and all that bollocks, what the fuck is that about?

Dunno, haven't used Kaspersky for years. It still gets good reviews though.

It used to be install and leave. It would update/scan in the background and wouldn't bother you.

we went a bit complicated here avg 8.0 is constanl beng asaed to updated anyone know a work around i stil have avg 7.5 working great but would like to update as it acts like nortorn any one know a fix as it acts like norton ie if norton went your pc is fucked as i fixed 4 pcs in my time where norton has just went and that s just 4 simple pcs!

I've got Kaspersky Internet Securtity 2009, Had no problems so far except my key got blacklisted -_- but sorted that out
