Trying to make the club self-sustaining. Offering stupid wages is completely against what the club is about.
Plus I don't think Coppell wants to go back in to managing.

Nearly a perfect night for all 3 clubs.

Re: Championship 2012/2013
We nearly fucked it up. Missed many chances to get a 2nd and then gave away a pen. Luckily Schmeichel saved it and the rebound went flying over after a decent follow up from defence and Kasper again. Brighton were dirty fuckers toward the end. Liking out a lot and getting a bit pushy with Vardy up front for no reason. Not sure his name but their no.6, bald headed guy (shaved), was a right cunt.

That's some thing Rev, What you make of real madrid wanting Shmeichel to replace Casillias?
Re: Championship 2012/2013
Seriously?!?
Kasper is good but I don't think he is Real Madrid good.

Re: Championship 2012/2013
I reckon it's bullshit from agent(s) trying to get Kasper a better deal. Prem teams apparently wanted Schlupp last year, cue new contract and a wedge increase from Eriksson et al and now he isn't even getting a look in our team apart from being on the bench.
Although saying that a major Man Utd fan at work today told me he had heard Schmeichel was being looked at by Ferguson as well. I find it hard to believe. Lindegaard is a great keeper and De Gea is good with shed loads of potential. As shakey as he is is only 21 and has plenty time to improve. Kasper is 25/26 now and you would expect should be in the prem or a top league if he was that good. Mind you when Sven played him for Man City he certainly held his own, but then he ended up at Notts County (Sven), Leeds and Leicester (Sven). So a bit of a weird career route, who knows where he'll end up next!

I have no confidence in De Gea at all. Haven't seen Lindegaard but would say Kasper would be a good buy for Utd.

Re: Championship 2012/2013
I didn't really think much of it although I do rate him as a keeper and many times wanted
Burnley to sign him but never did. De Gea is another one linked with the real spot too and he's apparently not happy
with his role at united so if anything maybe Leicester are going to get a decent deal out of it maybe De Gea back to spain and
Kasper filling his dad's old boots? If he did go to united I'd expect him to be starting ahead of Lindegaard.
I think that Fraiser Forster from Celtic will have a few clubs looking at him too after the performance he had last night.
