Good game last night. It was a long time since I've seen the server with all bots expelled :D

Nearly four, that Rev idiot prevented one from under your nose!

Was pretty funny last night, I think all of us said "last round" at least three times each before actually going anywhere!

Has the server been set up yet so you can download from it? I'd love to try out those custom maps when we're a bit busier like last night. As much as I think dust 2 is a great map (I flew the flag in CS1.6 when Dust was more popular) it does get a bit, "yawn" sometimes.

Code: Select all

sv_downloadurl "http://www.aopclan.co.uk/cstrike/"
sv_allowdownload 1
sv_allowupload 1
netmaxfilesize 50
Liq, are you around later on to set this up and do some testing so we can get this set up? And anyone else that wants to help test :)

All the files maps and sound files that are on the CSS server (I assume it is still using /cstrike not /css/cstrike?) to the URL above (you can browse the folders in your browser, once we are set up properly I will turn this function off).

CSS is supposed to accept bz2 compression which pretty much halves all the map files. But there are no .res/.nav files on the CSS server? Aren't these needed for the bot routes?

I am around tonight to set this up. Still have some work to do as well, but I will try to do that as early as possible.
The use of /cstrike and /css/cstrike has switched a couple of times, so not sure which one to use atm, we'll figure it out.

There should be .nav on the server, because you will need them for bot routes indeed.

I will try to be online at 7:30 (UK time), are you available then as well?

Yeah, if I am on Steam, I am around.

The .nav files are under /css/cstrike/maps (i.e. not the folder I did).

All the custom maps are under /cstrike/maps (i.e. not /css/)

But there were no admin sounds under /cstrike but there are under /css/cstrike so maybe thats why the custom maps weren't working before?

It is possible that I've uploaded them to both locations.
They did work, you were able to change the map on the server (in mani menu) and join the game. The download of the map didn't work.(timeout)
If you have the map installed manually it works fine.

Guess I'm on Steam a bit earlier. (about 7 ish)

Will sort it out later on, may have just been because some of the maps were really big.

That is what the netmaxfilesize command is for. Allows you to increase the filesize allowed.

Thought I already added that to the cfg file.
