There may be a reason to start playing Borderlands again soon.

Not on Steam yet, but there is a new DLC which adds extra levels on to everything. So better weapons harder enemies etc.

Should be released later today by the sounds of it. There is also a beta version of Steam which changes the whole look and feel.

Login to Steam, go to Settings then on the general tab it says something along the lines of beta programs and you can join it. Some people have had trouble and had to redownload whole games etc so be warned if you do it.

I am happy to start again, I got bored of my character, would like to try one of the others.

New UI looks quite nice although Steam completely crashed out for no reason :S

Am buying the DLC now. :D

When i get your old rig i'll start palying borderlands again then :P

Also, i've been offered a "hardly used" 22" Dell monitor for £100. Sound any good?

It's alright, even better if it is an Ultrasharp.

As long as there are no stuck/dead pixels I would go for it. They are around £160-180 new, assuming it isn't an Ultrasharp.
