Blackburn should really be one of the favourites to go up. Wolves I'm not sure about. Bolton much the same, I can't stand them since fat Sam was there. They had a good end of season 2 seasons ago when they had Sturridge on loan and then they were shit again last season. Another crap club from the north west.

Huddersfield are a big club. The old "sleeping giants" people go on about, well they are on of them. I bet they get bigger attendances than most other clubs in the league.

They had a bigger average gate than Burnley (and Palace) last season.

Huddersfield are a "big" club. Just because they were in the lower leagues means nothing.

Agreed. There are a lot of clubs well within capability of sustaining 25k attendances and above that have been in league one in recent years. Leicester haven't quite managed an average of 25k but they're just about there. Along with Leeds, Sheffield Wednesday, Sheff Utd, Southampton, Norwich. It's not so many years ago that Man City were down there!

edit: Heh, I quoted the wrong post

With the exception of the Sheffield clubs they are single club towns. I expect Huddersfield is just enough away from Manchester and Leeds to get good attendances. Palace's max is 25,000 which we only really get in the Premiership.

If you get a chance to go to Hillsborough do so. One of the few remaining large capacity grounds with character.

Well so far we've been fairly active in the Transfer Window which has surprised me
quite a lot... actually buying players as soon as Barry Kilby steps down ha...ha...ha.

So far we've signed..

Luke O'Neill - already mentioned him who is a young right back and will either be replacing Kieran Trippier or He'll be getting moved into Midfield I'm guessing.

George Porter - Another one I've already mentioned previously but he's a young winger who can also play as a striker.. so either replacing Junior Stanislas or again
Kieran Trippier.

Jason Shackell - New captain and an experienced head so will be replacing Andre Amougou, Micheal Duff or David Edgar..

and Finally I've heard Brian Stock is undergoing a medical at Turf today too?

I felt the need to mention this as I always thought we were a feeder club haha.

We are looking at bringing in Jose Baxter from Everton. Has looked good pre-season but carrying a fair bit of weight.

Have had a few other players trialling. Peter Ramage is back, probably either buy him or loan him I imagine. Has some French player called Alexis Allart but apparently his fitness was piss poor so he was sent back to France.

Fingers crossed, Jermaine Easter may be leaving, apparently Doncaster want him for some reason, no idea why.

Long running rumours of Ross McCormack joining but as time goes on the less likely that is to happen.

Freedman has subsequently come out and said everyone is asking too much for their players so we will likely be loaning a few players.

Nathaniel Clyne has gone to Southampton, great signing for them. Fee is undisclosed.

Baxter would be a decent signing for you and I'm sure Ben Mee will be available
for another loan.... although I'm hoping he comes back to us but with us just buying Shackell Probably not.
Isn't McCormack linked with some premier league club? not too sure. I read about Clyne I honestly thought he could have
done better for himself but I do think Southampton will have a decent run and I expect them to stay up.
