Books are better, you've just named all the main characters. The TV show has cut out a fair amount of characters to make it simpler to keep up.

We'll have to wait and see. The series is starting to go off from the books a fair bit so even I'm not sure what they will be doing with somethings.
I like the story of Khalessi in the books and it looks like that is mostly staying true so should be good TV.
Will be extremely interesting if they carry on with the Jamie/Briene bit as they are (again, same as the books) as it will be a good bit of CGI.

Yeah next Sunday. Yesterday was Memorial Day in the US (whatever that is) so no main TV shows are on.
