Mic Problem

Basically when i try talking through my mic, no one can hear me. But if i play something on my comp, such as music, people can hear it through my mic. So internal sounds can be heard through my mic. But external ones cant. Anyone know how to fix it?

I assume this is in Vent? Go in to the settings and change the input device from direct sound to microphone.

Done that, il tell you if it worked next time someones on vent. Its not just happening on vent. I tried it on steam chat and with audacity. Both times same thing happened.

In which case it won't be your vent settings, it will be your sound settings through Windows.
