No point getting 4 280's
well the 4 was meant as in .. next for the... not 4x...

dont you think 1 will work then skell... my athalonx2 no good for it ?

No. Somes games will benefit but not all.

You can't just throw in top graphics cards with old CPUs as you won't benefit.

old....bloody hell... looks like its a whole new bundle then really...board...cpu..power supply maybe ( 650 in here) ...ram...and graphics card

650W is fine.

Depending on what motherboard it is, you may be able to get away with a newer CPU and keep the RAM.

Socket 939? AM2? AM2+?

In that case it will be the lot, although you could salvage the RAM.

Probably be better of getting an AM2+ motherboard, keep your RAM, possibly get more if you have less than 2GB, then getting either an ATi 4850X2 or an ATi 4870.

i may just flog this minus the hd and put it towards a new one.... i told brad i was getting this and then going bankcrupt :mrgreen:
