Dell customer service

Post by skeletor »

Is pretty damn good.

Within 30 seconds I was through to some Indian chappy asking for a service tag, explained I didn't have one and it was just a problem with my monitor.

Got passed on to a helpful Scot who has arranged for mine to be picked up on Thursday at my work and to be given a replacement at the same time.

Probably the best customer service I have received.

Obviously would of been nicer if the monitor hadn't broken, but you can't argue with a 4 year warranty.

They want your balls man (by the way Joe, foul language used by myself and Blaze here. Poon and Sparkz are the more technical abusing side, I suppose they abuse people in ways only they know, so if they ever laugh at you and you don't know what the fuck is going on just don't speak, type, radio commands etc etc...) yeah they want your balls.

I remember my speakers power pack had exploded (well cracked open, but same diff) we rang up and they just sent out a new one no questions asked. Is it possible for a company to get several lots of praise in one thread on the internet? 8O

Fair play to the dell boys then. Still fucked off I cant mess around with my system though cos they pretty much lock it up so you have to buy a new one, but hey ho.

I was expecting to be shouting at some Pakistani after waiting for half an hour. And I got a call this morning from Dell to confirm that the courier would be coming to collect my monitor and give me the replacement, although I have a funny feeling that they will give me a refurbished monitor.

Must be a shitty bomb, hasn't gone off yet.

It works though and has no dead pixels by the looks of it, better than my last monitor so far, until I load up a game and find out it has terrible banding or something shitty.
