Vista has been the best version of Windows yet, beaten only by it's successor 7.

No need to be Loyal.

7 > Vista > XP

Simple as, media spouts out a load of shit about Vista.

I might download a 7 beta version unless it's already complete, Is there any way to crack it or do you have spend for it?

your motherboard should have an option for memory re-mapping if its a p45 like mine, once you have x64 os youll see all 6gb with it enabled. You will need to overclock your cpu to get it up to speed, buy another hd and raid 0 them for faster loading of games etc

Ive been on vista x64 since it came out 2 yrs ago and never looked back all you xp fan boys are stuck in a time warp there really is nothing wrong with vista even when i had 2gb ram it was smooth like hot wax driblling all over naked butt cheeks!

RAID 0 doesn't really offer much more over a good drive. Brad has RAID 0 on his rig and I still beat him on everytime on map loads. The difference you will see is minimal in real world performance.

my raid 0 raptors are still faster at everything i do than my new samsung f1 on its own, i pair 2 of the samsungs for windows 7 and its very responsive not tried vista on them to compare but i definatly think its faster on the two than the one, only problem redunancy. Games load faster for sure. transfering files within windows is fast too.

Yeah, I'm not denying it's faster. But the cost is not worth it IMO. As for redundancy, it's the same as a single drive.
