Woohoo, the tin can with wheels (otherwise known as "the beast") i have been driving for 2 years will be moving on. Bring in the Audi A4.
Monday 6 April I shall be acquiring the new beast.
95,000'ish (cant quite remember) miles which is absolutely nothing to an Audi, bearing in mind our works pool car is a 2.4l A6 and its done 194,000.
It was my Grandads whos downsizing, so I got first refusal. Under bonnet looks like new and everything underneath i know is fine because I did most of it.
Paintwork is mint since it was diamond brighted at purchase and then again a few years ago and it has also lived in a garage all it's life. Few little stone chips on the front bumper but thats it. Aftermarket alloy wheels -which suit it brilliantly if i may say so myself- and lowered suspension.
OOO ERRR
And "how much?", i hear you all shouting. Well, practically nothing. £800, what a bargain. And whats more, being family and all, I get a payment plan £80 a month for 10 months! Insurance goes from £300 to £600 but i think i can live with that
Only concern I have is getting used to parking it. My little AX beasty could fit in nearly anywhere, so theres a slight size increase

Re: New Vehicle!
Hate to say it but DiamondBrite is shite if not applied properly and most dealers don't apply it properly (it's sad that I know so much about car cleaning, but I do).
Was looking at an A4 when I got my Mondeo, but Mondeo was cheaper and just as good inside.
Nice price for yours though.

Re: New Vehicle!
It wasn't applied by dealers mate, my uncle did it. Everyone in my family always gets him to do it cos he's so bloody good at it. I've seen him put a mop to a run down Escort and had it shining a few hours later.skeletor wrote:Hate to say it but DiamondBrite is shite if not applied properly and most dealers don't apply it properly (it's sad that I know so much about car cleaning, but I do).
Either way though, its cheap what im paying for it and its an upgrade from my fork scratched (matching either side may i add) battered Ax
If i can manage to work out this complicated internet uploads and stuff i'll try and get a few pics on, you might be surprised. Or you might not.... But hey, im enthusiastic about it

DiamondBrite
i think i washed my first car back in 1988.. once... seemed a pointless task after that... also if your car is a complete shed on wheels ... car theifs are generally less likley to steal it.. due to it not being worth a pissle... and the embarisment of being seen init.... by their other ganster mates .. init.. ave it...
