Hard drives are cheap anyway.

Going to keep case, HDD's, sound card and maybe the PSU, can't remember which one I got.

Decided not to get one for my main PC, have one in the media centre PC I built which is connected to my TV which is enough. I rarely watch films on my PC anymore so didn't see the point.

All setup just installing games etc now. 60GB of files in steamapps is taking a while to copy over to the new drive. :(

Might be on later.

Pretty good by the looks of it. The clamp was extremely tight though, worried about pushing it down as it as the clamp bent to clip in :?

Some screenies attached.

Haven't had a chance to overclock it yet, if the weather is shit on Sunday will have a go at overclocking, but temps are alrady reasonably high, although not bad for air cooled with 2 120mm fans spinning at 900rpm (silence FTW!!).

Judging by the temperatures on Speedfan and the BIOS, temp 2 is the CPU.

Can calculate pi to 1 million decimal places in 15 seconds, will see how an overclock can help that. UT3 runs extremely smoothly at 1920x1200 full advanced graphics settings.

Quickly loaded up CSS, 1920x1200, all high, with 2xAA and 2xAF (i think), averaging around 250fps.

Lost Coast, 1920x1200, all high, 4xAA, 8xAF (i think) averaged 105fps.

Haven't overclocked the graphics yet either, running at around 50-55 deg C, fan is bloody noisy at anything over 40%, hopefully it won't get hot enough to go over that, I played UT3 for 15 mins and it didn't speed up although I didn't check the temp. Will do some stress testing while I overclock, see what this baby can do.

Found a newer version of speedfan, so got some better temp readings.
Updated speedfan
Updated speedfan
Under load:
Speedfan under load
Speedfan under load
Within a second of stopping the load on the CPU, the temps of Core1 and Core2 dropped to 45.

Played the last remnant which is built on the Unreal 3 engine, graphics card hit 70 deg C CPU hardly went up, although I was a bit slow opening speedfan afterwards, so I assume it dropped back down again.

Got some screens out of last remnant. At 1920x1200, mostly full graphics. I tried turning everything up full but was only getting 15-20fps, I think that was down to putting the shadows detail to max and the clipping on the characters to being visible from extreme distances.

Quite old tech in it, but would more than enough for WoW and CSS.
