OK so after todays events im getting even more fucked off with this shitty comp.
So i found this laptop which im willing to wish some cash on from ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0427776765
Spam took a look and thinks is ok as long as i look after it etc.
But cos its yank land how the fuck do i dodge the customs? I know you can get it marked as gift and nicely wrapped for extra convincing if they are nice (and they said they would over email) but do you also need to mark the customs label down? Thats the bit im not too sure on.

Re: Laptop - Customs
If that is anything like the Asus laptops I had to look after at my old work, I would stay clear of it.
Something like this would be better:

Graphics isn't as good but won't fall apart after 2 weeks.

As for your customs it wont matter if they put it down as a gift, the uk side will has a database of addys and if the senders addy has been logged as sending high price items they will check it regardless of how its labelled. Only way round it is to use a jersey remailing company, if you hunt around you can find them, they are on the fringes of illigality and they will charge to resend. I used one once a long time back when i bough a crate of mp4s from hongwong destined for ebay...

my laptop was fine until it broke but with a laptop you need to plug in a mouse anyway
