Re: left 4 dead 2
People here talking about preordering yet last few months the whole interweb has been talking of nothing but "abandoning" it because "we should have got it free in the first one". Broken promises etc etc.
Personally I couldnt care less because I never got the first one. Old rig wouldnt run it well enough and cant jsutify forking out £26.99 or whatever ridiculous price it still is on steam when the next one is so close to release.

The 2 people who led the boycot on the Valve forums were flown out to the Valve HQ's to see the game first hand and completely changed their opinion.Revolver wrote:People here talking about preordering yet last few months the whole interweb has been talking of nothing but "abandoning" it because "we should have got it free in the first one". The huge fuss was caused by Valve saying they would add lots of additional downloadable content for L4D (first one) but soon after released details of L4D2 for an end of year release. I can't see why they aren't doing a discounted version for current L4D owners, but it's no different to Halo in the sense that OSDT is not worth it if you bought all the maps on LIVE except the time between releases.
