SW: TOR

Post by Revolver »

Who is not looking forward to this? This has THE potential to knock WoW off its perch surely? The Star Wars fan base is HUGE, Bioware have proven their worth with the first KOTOR game (i ordered a PC copy from ebay on saturday because i had it on original xbox haha). And mixing single player and mmo all within a star wars universe. Amazing.

Hmm, huge success says Yoda.

Not too sure on it, won't be playing it myself.

Don't really like Star Wars or Star Trek but can easily sit through them.

Stargate was different though, but still deeply flawed much like Star Wars and Star Trek.

TOR on xbox was a legend game. I wasted lots of time playing that... Lol. I might get this... I dont think it has the potential to knock WoW out though? I dont really know much about this game... Tbh this is the first i have heard of it. So is it going to be a MMO? Like you pick a character, go do quests etc etc. Could be good...
I'm back :)

Its MMO but single player at the same time. They interwind somehow. Dunno, but bioware are clever fuckers when it comes to shit like that.

WoW is now a pretty old concept long in the tooth, time for a bit of new innovation in the area of MMO's, and this has got it all, Age of Conan raped WoW on many levels, but could not finish it off, this might
well get the edge, we all know pretty damn well, if it's Lucas it's fucking awesome.
