Well, I know the only music that seems to crop up on this forum is a bit heavy metal but i had to comment on this.
What a fucking gig. 3 great sets, one i didnt care about. For £40. Bargain.
Reverend and the Makers - Shit as expected. Well maybe shits a little harsh. Their music aint that great to me so the results were always going to be the equivalent of putting make up on horse shit and expecting it to look pretty.
The Enemy - Rumoured not to be playing but the Coventry scum bags put up a show. Great performance really got the crowd going, still prefer the stuff from their first album than the new one.
Kasabian - As good as always. Shame more people werent in because they could have rocked the whole stadium. I suppose gigs like this are only going to increase reputations more and more though. That good I drank 4 pints by about 20mins into the set (too lazy to keep going back bar so just bought a tray) and had to hold in my piss till the end of the set. Phew.
Oasis - Well, to be honest i wasnt expecting much because you never know which oasis will turn up. But fuck me, I reckon there must've been 80,000 people in by time they were on. By time the sun had dropped and stage effects were up to full it was some sight. Wembley singing Champagne Supernova was some experience along with plenty of other oasis classics.
Anyway, if you ever get the chance to see summit like this do it.
Also, i booked my tickets a day after my mate did (a pair each) and we were 3 rows apart. But we were right at the back behind the on pitch beer tent and camera/strobe tower. So complained at the information desk and got moved to about 30m in front of stage on the right, fucking great view. We could have gone on pitch but couldn't be arsed cos had to travel back and didnt wanna get shit up so stayed seated.

Metallica probably inspired around 95% of the bands you listen to.
I am going to see Metallica on the 2nd August. Always put on a good show, brilliant music.
