Switching broadband.

Post by BlacKBlazE »

I kinda got blagged by a paki cunt from talk talk and he convinced us that he was from my current isp (aol/carphone warehouse)
Said that we would get free 8 meg broadband and it would go upto 24 meg by 2012 or something also said that our phone line wouldn't change from BT
after agreeing thinking we would be staying the same and nothing changing apart from free broadband.

We get a letter later that week saying "Oh welcome to talk talk phone and broadband" What a fucking cunt he is, He better not come near my house again cause
i'm going to kick shit out of him.

It's free broadband as you are hooked in to the phone option with them.

You don't get things for free.

As for 8meg, you probably won't get it. If he did actually say you will get 8meg you have been mis-sold it, it is up to 8meg.

It's also funny how they are offering up to 24meg in 2010, when Be have been doing it for a couple of years using the same phone lines...hmmm.

Talk Talk are a shitty company with extremely low download limits.

Cancel ASAP, keep your phone seperate with BT and get O2 broadband for £12 a month, or £7/8 if you have an O2 phone.

Then get your speed cut to 25% because you downloaded a few files.

Virgin are cunts. They need to get rid of their limits and sort out their network.

Between 10am-9pm I can hit my limit in 30 minutes of downloading.
