Re: Bought a new car
I find it difficult to get even the slightest bit excited about a car that I will never ever own.
I'd be happy with an 09' plate Audi (of almost any model becaus they all look fricking gorgeous) and they're out of reach even in years time when I try o get one second hand.

Re: Bought a new car
Audi S5/RS4 are in my eyes for my next car. Hopefully in 2/3 years I will be in a situation where I can afford one.
As for getting excited seeing cars you will never own, you can still drive them though. I did a track day in an Aston Martin V8 Vantage and it was amazing, the noise of the V8 and the speed...

Re: Bought a new car
I totally agree, Audi's are very gorgeous.
Lot of money Skel, you certainly did not pick not cheapest out of their range
I almost rented a Gallardo once, but 1500 euro's for a weekend with only 100 km free (and then 1,5 euro per km) was a bit pricy...

Re: Bought a new car
RS is more expensive but I got a reasonably good deal on it so not all bad.
Just spend the last 3 hours cleaning the wheels, great reflection in them now.

Lol.
You probably know the feeling that you don't wanna break because of the break dust...

Yup, ha. I have put 3 layers of sealant on them so they should be easier to clean in the future for the next few months at least.
Talking of Gallardo's I was at a course a few weeks ago where someone turned up in a Gallardo with an upgrade sports exhaust, sounded amazing. He only bought it as he had to wait a few months till he got his Nissan GT-R.

Re: Bought a new car
Did he really bought it to get rid of it for a GT-R!? That's an expensive way to fill a gap.
I have to say, the GT-R is awesome, but I'm not sure if I would give up a Gallardo for it.

Re: Bought a new car
Yeah. He had a Nissan 350Z, then put a pre-order in for the GT-R. He was told it was going to be a long wait so he was going to keep the 350Z but at a car show the Gallardo was at a price he couldn't say no to. Not too sure I would take a GT-R over a Gallardo myself.liquid wrote:Did he really bought it to get rid of it for a GT-R!? That's an expensive way to fill a gap.

Re: Bought a new car
Just ordered some mods for it, getting fitted on the 4th. Brings the car from 225BHP to 260BHP, 0-60 from 6.7 seconds to 5.9 seconds.
