I didnt pass my test till i was 20, i couldnt be arsed to do it. Passed it all first time, so its not like i couldnt.

I did lessons for 2 months just after i turned 18. Had to stop because I fractured my hip bone and couldnt drive. Started again a year after i did my hip for another 2 months of lessons, but then my instructor (a different one) went to Antigua for 6 weeks. Then got used to having the £20 a week in my pocket and didnt start again (by now i was a qualified mechanic with no driving licence, amazing) until after my 20th birthday. I did my theory in September i think and my instructor said he was goin away again over xmas, so i just booked my test for a week later and passed with 3 minors. I should have got it done years before, i just didnt earn a lot and lessons are so expensive. Its £25 minimum now for an hour i think? Ridiculous

I'll get my 3rd year NCB on 27th December, if i'd bothered doing lessons earlier I would be on 5 years, cos I wont crash. Im a quality driver. Honest. Especially when im drunk :?

Oh yeah, passed with 3 minors at a test centre with one of the lowest pass rates in the country. Always a nice bragging point

I passed on the 4th attempt. I'm not a bad driver, I am just hopeless at tests. Always end up panicing over nothing and do something stupid, like 60 in a 40....he weren't too happy about that. Or nearly running a bloke over who was walking his dog, to which he said "what would he have done if you had run over his dog?", I siimply replied "Bought a new one". He didn't see the funny side.

I havent heard that. I know in October sometime they are gonna start marking you for how environmentally friendly you drive in the test.

To be honest, the level of driving in this country is appauling and 50 lessons isn't going to stop the chavs driving like twats after they have passed. Just more money in to their hands.

They want an eco drive...don't fucking drive. Or drive a Prius which doesn't fucking move, been stuck behind too many of them recently. I make sure to give them a nice roar from the exhaust as I go past them. I am lucky to get 20mpg
