The numbers were most likely printed on the balls using computers. The whole security thing about not showing the numbers before BBC did gave them time to quickly put them in to the computer.

It's not real, I can't believe people think things like that are real when Derren Brown's acts are completely around deception.

Of course its not real, but its some great stuff none the less. It's all about influencing and confusing peoples thoughts.

He gave this woman a choice of 2 envelopes she chose one. He then did stuff like put a X on hers and a tick on the other, he told her the money was in the other one, made her read a note out loud that told her again the money was in the other envelope, that she would still choose the wrong one even though its got a X on it and even though shes been told 4 times shes got the wrong one. But she won't change her mind because its a sign of weakness. Then for the last time offers the chance to change envelopes, she sticks, she gets a picture of a parrot and the cheques in the other one. It's just playing on peoples thoughts and its brilliant.

It's not magic there is no such thing, but its bloody clever. The same as he did not predict the lottery results, its just another clever gimmick.

He did the same with a kitten or may have been a rabbit and left the individual in a room with a timer, didn't tell them what the time did, but just told them not to press the button which would electrocute the animal. Something along those lines anyway, and they all pressed the button before the time ran out, although the button wasn't wired up.
