Worth getting it on Xbox arcade once it is out? Has 4 player online co-op.
You will want a keyboard and mouse for that game. It is HECTIC! The sound of those suicide bomber blokes running towards you with the constant scream is cracking me up already. What a game, cant wait.

I'm actually excited about this, can't believe I only just found this.
I keep hearing them bombers in my head the way they run at you screaming...Cracking up at work, not good.
I can't get sound though so they probably don't sound as good as i remember.
One thing i can be sure of though was the the the graphical innovation of the Serious Engine (or whatever it was) was the solar flaring when you looked at the sun. It was actually annoying. Like a string of circles across the screen.

From what I have been reading the new engine is up there with the D3 engine and the new Valve engine. Not only in looks but the amount of models you can have on the screen and the draw distance.

Well the first engine was just MAD for the amount of models on screen. Was just stupid fun. I was so refreshing to play with just absolute mayhem being unleashed on screen. I so hope this has the same effect. Might even pre order it since its £15 on play.com, the laptop should handle it, maybe

Monsters spawned from another dimension are trying to make The Milky Way their personal trash can. As attempts to defend the solar system fail, the fate of the Earth, and even the universe, rests with one man. YOU are Sam 'Serious' Stone, a legend in your time. Sam is our only hope against these mischievous miscreants and their evil leader, Mental. In practice, this translates into adrenaline-pumping, non-stop alien blasting action, as Serious Sam throws whole waves of monsters at the player.
Bring back the onslaught, Serious Sam HD is not your mother's generic, large-scale, orchestral scored, Space Marine-themed epic FPS with dialog that pretends it's an RPG ... instead, Serious Sam HD is a grab you by the jibblies run and gun, twitch FPS: big guns, tons of enemies, 4-Player Online Co-Op and HD graphics.
