The Business - Finally watched that this year, wish I hadn't
Munich - Good Film
Layer Cake - Finally, what a film too (talking of Sienna Miller....)
Empire of the Sun - So Christian Bale started out as a little shit, no wonder hes annoying now. (yes, the 1987 film)
To be honest I cant be arsed to list them all. And apparently Rec that i mentioned has a sequel coming out.
Films i wanted to see at pics but never did; Star Trek, Public Enemies, Terminator 4 (but apparently it was shit), Hurt Locker (might still be on at some places was only recently released UK).
Could talk about films all day, im sure i'll have something to say later about another one
And back on topic, i will probably go see Avatar

Re: avatar
I'm still after seeing The firm (Looks like it's abit like football factory and green street) and Damage with steve austin in looks good
As for films i've seen this year well umm...
Funny People - With sandler and seth rogen and that other one out of knocked up i expected it to be fucking hiliarious.... It was shit.
Halloween 2 - Now i must admit i didn't really "see" this movie cause the cam was dark as fuck but again this "looked" shit from my cam version... First one is alot better.
The final destination - Seen one you've seen them all some ok kills nothing special.
Across the hall - Meh, It wasn't too bad
Inglourious Basterds - Again a big let down for me, I expected so much more and the ending was shit
Land of the lost - Was pretty funny even if it wasn't supposed to be
Public Enemies - Not too bad but nothing special for me
The Hangover - Made me laugh in some parts the ending was kind of gay
I love you, man - Like the hangover made me laugh but the ending was gay
Year one - I expected alot more from jack black... probably his worst film ever
The Damned United - If you like football and followed brian clough it's worth a watch
The International - Was worth the watch
Bronson - If you like the film chopper you will like this, Some good violence and it's fucking funny.
Can't think of anymore i've watched sooo that's my list.. going to watch district 9 and G.I Joe later
Probably won't pay to see avatar but probably end up watching it

Re: avatar
I thought Layer Cake was shit too. I was expecting a Lock Stock/Snatch type of film and was bitterly disappointed.

Well, i was gonna put No Country for Old Men but i think i watched it last year.sparksy wrote:i think best film ive seen for a bit was ...no country for old men

Layer Cake was good, sorry but we'll just have to disagree on that one. Any film can be crap if you put expectations on it. I watched Batman Begins expecting it to be great after my mates told me how good it was. I thought it was mediocre at best. But then when The Dark Knight was released..... What a film. I expected it to be good, but not that good.
Defiance I havn't seen yet, I thought it looked a little overdone so i'll wait for tele premiere thanks.

Re: avatar
Anyone found a torrent for this now? I downloaded 2 last night and one you needed to download some other thing to watch it and the other was a shit copy.
I'm back
Re: avatar
There is one copy out which is a CAM (obviously) with English and Spanish audio. The English audio is supposed to be very bassy and you can't actually tell what people are saying.
TBH there is no point downloading a film which cost $300 million to make and watch it when it's been recorded on a camera in a cinema...
Go to the cinema and watch it, preferably in 3D or wait for at the very minimum the DVD rip but the 1080p rip would be better.
