OK so I was thinking about Fallout 3 and how i now actually prefer it on 360 to PC because i prefer using the pad. Because of sneaking/lockpicking etc etc.
Anyway, I just had one of those Eurika moments! WOW!
Why don't I use the pad on the PC and get the best of both worlds?
So, I am thinking of trying this once I am home, but another thing. I remember trying this before (using a charge and play lead) on my PC downstairs. And everytime i plugged in the pad to charge, it turned on. Then it turned on the Xbox. So my question is
How the fuck do you set up your 360 not to boot up everytime you turn on the pad?

Re: 360 pad - PC
To be honest, i think this is irrelevant now actually. Cos i remember now it always crashes and plus playing games on xbox/live isnt a chore unlike playing anything games for windows related is.

I don't think the charge lead works on PC as the cable only allows power and not the actual controls. You will need to buy a wired controller or get the wireless kit for PC, although I may be wrong, I haven't tried it as I have a wired controller.
As for the Xbox. You can just plug it in and it will charge without pressing the Xbox button and the fans will start on the Xbox but it shouldn't boot fully. It has to cool down the components even when charging the controller.

Re: 360 pad - PC
Well I only ask cos I wanna get the Fallout 3 GOTY edition, its cheaper than buying all the addons seperately. But Im gonna play the whole thing through from the start again (long long time that, my first play through by time i finished main quest was at 55hours and hadn't done half the stuff!) and then with the addons too.
Just wasn't sure whether to get it on PC or 360
