True...just bought a rowing machine for £1,000 too...



That is running on a very similar spec PC that I have in the loft (CPU is a bit better though).

That has a good overview of the 8800GTS on UT3.

So knock the settings down from highest to high and you can enjoy the game. Or stick to highest and make a few tweaks to the config files and the game should run smoothly.

What size monitor do you have?

Erm, the cheapest I can find no ebay :oops:

I don't have one cos I use the laptop screen. The old Dell i used was my rents' and they still use it, its only a lil 15inch thing anyway.

Have an old TFT in the loft as well, think it's 15".

Was my brothers old one till he got his 24".

If i got a decent desktop I would probably just sell the laptop for a fiver and go to the charity shop for a new screen with my monies :lol:

I'm sure you could get more than £5 for the laptop.

Will have a look around the loft and see what parts I have.

AMD phenom 8550 triple core processor, 3 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS
