As for DLC, I think its fair to say we can expect to see new level caps, talents, zones and classes for this game. It seems to have caught on well.

One thing that puzzles me though is where your character is saved? Because from what I can see there is nothing "server side". So surely Skel you could send me a copy of your character and nothing would stop me loading it up?
Nope, nothing at all. In fact I have seen there are editors around that allow you to edit your character profile so you can increase your money etc. There are people running around that are level 1167232 or something like that. But that is the good thing about a closed group or people playing co-op as you don't have those wankers around.

If you are playing single player then go ahead and top yourself up from the beginning and annihilate the game, but not online.

BUT, it is a good thing the profiles are client side otherwise you wouldn't be able to play with your character without an internet connection.

This is true but like we've said it does leave you open to exploits unfortunately. But thats tinternet wankers for you.

One thing for sure though, don't forget to save a backup if you ever wipe your HDD or change comps....

I have signed up to GameRanger. Username is aopskeletor.

There appears to be a lot more other games listed then within Borderlands itself.

Level 31...using my sniper rifle...fucking awesome...

Also got an Eridian weapon. 886 damage.

It's shit though. It is really slow when it fires. It fires of this sort of energy pulse but it travels really slowly, so you need to predict where people are going to run or use it from long distances and hope there are no objects that it could hit beforehand.

I'll stick to my extremely accurate 419 damage sniper rifle that helped me annihilate Old Haven (really fucking hard place, will be a great challenge on co-op).

I got reavers edge last night (I think) and thats only 200 odd damage but its the most accurate sniper i have used. Deadly accurate, headshots all over. Then just run in and finish off with pistol or Combat Rifle

Apparently if you right click guns in game you can screen shot the weapon stats on its own, obviously for forum bragging right. You need to trim the edges a bit though before posting apparently.

Ahah, I was trying to do that last night with my sniper and the Eridian gun.

Who's up for some 4 player co-op in Old Haven? A hard challenge and bloody good leveling up (I was getting between 800-2600xp per kill). Some of the soldiers have heavy armour and shields and can take around 20 shots with my revolver to take down.

I'm revising tonight, i'll see what time i get back. but yeah sounds fun, I can't be that far behind now can I?

Exp is definately higher in single player anyway, I shot up a level last night hardly doing anything.

And as much as I love having homing rockets on the scorpion turret, its a little temperamental to spend 5 points in as a bottom tier talent :(

The best soldier talents are all 2nd-3rd level though so I cant get all of them together. I know its done that way for a reason but i still want all the talents lol

PS Get in the roof!
