Bought it on a whim.

Unfortunately it is 15GB to download through Steam. So if anyone is thinking of getting it, I would advise you get the DVD.

there is a small review of the game, nothing official but if it comes to choosing games I would trust this guy with my life (he has a similar taste as I do) but you mind find otherwise

It got 93% in PCZone with the score caption being "A roleplaying masterclass".

The "How it Stacks" comparison scores it gave were Mass Effect - 92% and The Witcher which it gave 88%.

Hadn't botherd reading the review but 3 paragraphs in its lavished with praise. Here's couple of quotes to get you started.
PCZ Review wrote:Dragon Age Origins has some of the best realised characters, greatest storylines and most natural free-flowing dialogue ever ladled onto a PC's hard drive
PCZ Review wrote:As a fantast world it's up theree on a par with that of the Lord of The Rings setting. In fact the whole thing feels like a Dorian Grat portrait of Middle-Earth

Wow, looks like there are quest givers you come across that you have to pay for the quests 8O . It takes you to a log in window for an EA account and you "puchase" the quest as DLC. I don't know why i put "purchase" in quotes because you really do have to "purchase" it, as in with real money...
