AoP Group Trip?

Post by Revolver »

So i was thinking we could all go away on a holiday or something together. Since we're mostly English/Irish its not like we'd have to travel much further than anyone else. Could be a real laugh.
I was thinking of next Summer? Maybe South Africa? Apparently there is some big tournament going on there to do with, whats it called, football?

I think it's called the "World Cup" or something. Apparently its going to be brilliant.

Been to Sarf Afrika before, nice country if you are in the right place. A lot of beggers in the city centres of Jo-berg and shit loads of poor people outside of Durban.

Although when I was there I saw a Bilboard for McDonalds which was selling the new Big Mac for a whopping 12p that included chips and drink.

Beer at the hotel in Durban varied between 10-15p a pint, was a nice hotel, had monkeys climbing up going in to peoples rooms who left their windows open throwing their clothes off the balcony in to the swimming pool. Everyone was always hesitating to laugh just incase it was their belongings being thrown down.

But to get there is a lot £££ and WC tickets I imagine are going to be £££. But if it is planned properly I am up for it.

If South Africa works out too expensive, we could do a European road trip. Hire out a shitty camper van or 2.

Don't think Blaze has a licence? And he would likely be out of his 99% of the time.

Our lil group of friends, mostly being couples, said about a month back we were gonna look into booking a week or two off in which we had £500 to buy a car at auction and drive to italy. A la Top Gear.

I only really made this thread as a piss take for Ireland not making the World Cup, but oh well, if people are actually interested then hey ho lol
