Thats because thats the only place most people know him from though.

"Hey you know that actor John C. McGinley right?"
"Who?"
"You know, Dr. Cox from Scurbs?"
"Oh yeah, i know him"

Just to prove my point, even i had to double check his name there lol.
Hahaha that's hilarious but so true

I don't remember him from Platoon at all.
He was a bit of a wimpy character from what i remember. Not like hiding scared wimpy but a does as he is told wimpy. What a fucking ace film though. I was watching Bear Grylls the other day and he was in Vietnam. You can say all you like about how set up or planned his show is but I was still watching it thinking how the fuck would you fight a war in that place? You can play games and watch Platoon/Private Ryan and Apocalypse Now but could you seriously imagine running through WWII or a Vietnam War. Pfft.

Anyway, he's good at being Dr Cox so who cares if thats all he is remember for. According to Wikipedia the guy who plays Janitor went for the roll but it went to Mr McGinley and they offered him the janitor roll.

"You can't play the cool doctor, we've found someone else for that. But you can be the two lines an episode Janitor."
Nice.

Janitor is the best character. He is in it up until the end of season 8 and makes an appearence in season 9.

Rev, watch Band of Brothers, especially episode 9. Must of been really shitty fighing in WW2.

Funnily enough I was watching on my 42". :D

As I watched it back to back, you remember all the soldiers names properly and makes the whole series better. It does go fairly slowly at times but that was also the case in the war. They don't get in to Germany until episode 9 (possibly 8).

Looks like Scrubs is definately cancelled. ABC are showing 2 episodes a night now trying to get them all out before the Winter Olympics after which they will start a new schedule.
