This came out today, havent played it yet. I decided that im not gonna complete the first one, il just find somewhere that gives me the low down of what happened. I mainly decided this because last night i was playing it and actually thought it was pretty shit. I thought it wasnt bad before, i think the change of heart happened because i was playin mass effect before that and mass effect is 10 times better than bioshock. And also killing those big daddy things is a piss take... They dont fucking die. And if they run at you they will hit you, and do fuck loads of damage. And i kept running out of bullets.

Hopefully bioshock 2 is better.

Maybe you're just a noob at that sort of game. Not being funny but it didn't get massively good scores because it was too hard. Maybe you need to go back and play Deus Ex, the original rpg shooter. Then you might be a bit better :p

Don't play Bioshock 2 on hard then. I was going to say "Servers you right for playing it on hard" but I didn't want to look cocky when I you said you had it on normal....
I always play games on normal first, since let's face it, normal is what games are meant to be played on.... Aren't they?

Well yeah but most games aren't a challenge on normal, its just an easy ride through the game. But i likes challenge. I do all fps on hard now i think. Other games which im not too good at i play normally like strategies, some rpg's and shit like that.

The way I see it is that games are usually balanced around normal first and foremost. So you play through on normal mode. If the game is worth another go, then go for it on hard mode and you'll see (especially with games like bioshock, Deus Ex and other FPSRPG hybrids) that you'll probably need a different approach to the game. Running out of ammo, having to avoid enemies that you wouldn't have on normal mode etc. It all detracts from that first play through.

Max Payne games force you to start on "Detective" i think it is, then once you finish the game you unlock Hard Boiled and some other mode. I think in the first one, not sure about the second, that there is a mode called New York Minute or something like that, where it is like hard more but also timed and you have to kill to keep the timer from hitting 0, essentially turning it into a speed run.
