50" HD TV and ps3 with pro evo or fifa 10 is good

I saw a 50" plasma for €800 and it is on my wish list (has the burn in protection on it)

Is it really that cheap? I don't think it is. My Dad's 37" Viera was only £450 with a 3 shelf black glass stand and 5 year guarantee. There are offers everywhere.

€800 is well over £700 at the current exchange rate, only thing that would make me question it is the fact that everything is twice as expensive in Ireland.

So even if it is £700-£800 for that tele, over here it might only costs £500, which would make Skel right. It is cheap shit.

My 50" HD Flatscreen with surround sound was £1,500 with option to buy the stand for another £250

that was like 2 or 3 years ago

I got my 42" with 5.1 sound + stand for £1100 just over a year ago.
