Re: new graphics card
...Most people use the onboard ones. Onboard sound is actually pretty damn good nowadays although not as good as something like Creative X-Fi but thats an extra £60+. Onboard ethernet, again, very good and reliable. Most motherboards come with at least 4 USB ports on the back with the ability to have 2 more from the motherboard for the case, so potentially 6+. Really surprised you have PCI cards for them.
Re: new graphics card

Re: new graphics card
Onboard sound should of been fine and the onboard ethernet was probably down to drivers.

Re: new graphics card
All fine. It would be best to do a clean install of Windows rather than using the old one as you will have less issues with drivers etc.
Re: new graphics card

Re: new graphics card
It is a problem with all versions of Windows, they slow down and play up more as time goes on. Reinstall and everything is fine for a few months.
No reason not to upgrade to Windows 7, get it off rapid.org, been cracked for a while. If you like it you can buy it.

Re: new graphics card
Same as you would a normal version. Download, burn and install with no serial number with a blank partition. So you have to delete the old by completely wiping the partition so that Windows will reformat.
