Since its such a big game I think it deserves its own thread
I'm pessimistic about Selhurst Park cos we're always shit there. But looks like the Palace fans are as optimistic about a Tuesday night home win as I am for City. I think we need to predict the draw. A win would be lovely for us though, I have to say.

ps. I think some of your fans need to tach up with the program. Fryatt is still injured with his fractured jaw and special mention the "The EEEAAAGGGLLLEEE!!!" who predicted a 1-0 Leicester win with a 93rd minute Lineker goal.....

Re: Palace v Leicester
Palace fans are realistic. If you look up a celebrity list of Palace fans, most of them are comedians which says all you need to know.
Hopefully the match won't be as dire as the Bristol City match last Tuesday.
When it comes down to it, we aren't supposed to be fighting against relegation, we are the same team (minus Moses) from before the deduction but the team has just gone to even more shit than it was before.

Re: Palace v Leicester
I don't know why Moses left to go to Wigan, he should have helped Palace and gone somewhere decent in the summer. Wigan are a crap team with crap support. Like Bolton, Blackburn or Burnley. How have Blackburn stayed up for so long, must be so boring being a Blackburn fan seeing the same crap week in week out for 15 years.
Too many teams in the top flight these days that shouldn't be there. I really think Moses will regret the move to Wigan.

15mins left. Berner's 52nd minute goal still has us in front.
Claude Davis red card on 43rd min for violent conduct. Whacked Michael Morrison round the head off the ball in pen area. Funny how he can give a red card but not a penalty.

Absolutely crap game.
Referee was awful, gave you everything. One of your defenders (#4) whacked Scannell in the face in exactly the same circumstances as Davis and gave nothing.
We were unlucky with the goal, it was really poor defending but Speroni made an excellent save from the first shot but didn't have much of a chance with the follow up.
Paul Harts decisions were more baffling than the referees.
A home match and you play 4-5-1. So at half time you have 10 men on the pitch come the second half, you take your sole striker and replace him with a defender, even though you have a central midfielder who can play at centre back. So we started off the second half as 4-5-0. On the rare occasion we won the ball we either passed it straight back to you with extremely poor passing or hoofed it up to the invisible striker. Eventually Scannel was put on, but it was too late.

Nah he didn't touch Scannell. He's meant to be good that guy, maybe we'll sign off you in the summer

He's better than Leicester...no offence. And he was hit. Your #4 was a dirty bastard.
Overall you were a poor side. The only reason you won is because we were worse. Was the same with Bristol City, they were a nothing team and weren't playing any attractive football but were better than us which is why they won.

We save our good performances for when it matters :pskeletor wrote:He's better than Leicester...no offence. And he was hit. Your #4 was a dirty bastard.

Honestly it is so frustrating that Leicester are one of those teams that play at the standard of the opposition. What was the pitch like? Becuase i know a crap pitch = crap Leicester. Sheff Wed was the same. We can't be that bad a team else we wouldn't be 4th in the table.... 4 points behind 3rd place with a game in hand.

Pitch isn't too bad, but it is the worst it has been in the last 2 years or so due to the amount of games being played and weather.
We usually have one of the best pitches in the division. Perfect for a quick passing game of football, but we always play direct and don't take advantage of it.
Palace manage to lower other teams to their level. I can't believe Leicester, Bristol City and Sheffield United are competing for promotion playing like they did at Selhurst.
