The hot reporter one was Quarantine. It also had the bird that played Alejandro's sister in heroes. Whatever her name was.
And Rec was the original spanish one, which was better, the English one had a different name I think. I watched the English one after the Spanish and it was exactly the same, but i prefer'd the Spanish one for some reason.
edit: Her name was Maya in heroes, Dania Ramirez. She played Sadie in Quarantine (the English speaking version of Rec)

I had to turn Quarantine off, I thought it was awful.
