So it looks like we've got some nice fixtuers next year!
Burnley v Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace v Leicester
Leicester v Burnley
Leicester v Crystal palace
Burnley v Leicester
Cryal Palace v Burnley
Thats the order i instinctively wrote them in. So that is date order. If they actually happen in that order, then my prediction of Leicester going up in the automatic play offs will come true too!
Gonna have to edit the post after the fixtures are released with the dates

Re: Championship Next Season
Ha.
Sorry but although I think Leicester are good enough for promotion, I can't seem them get an automatic spot.
If Palace and Portsmouth both start next season in administration, I think they both get a 17 point deduction. If we do, we are screwed.
"Going down, are we fuck, minus 10 and we are staying up" goes a lot better than "Going down, yes we are, minus 17, we are fucked".

Re: Championship Next Season
Skel, I know im biased because I am a Leicester fan, but seriously, Championship is wide open next season.
The relegated teams.
Portsmouth - Barely have a team, let alone money to spend on a new one. Av Grant will be gone to West Ham or something, and all their top players will be else where. I can see a follow on relegation for Pompey if they actually stay afloat
Hull - Are what? £30m in debt? They cant even sack Phil Brown properly because it will mean a lump sum pay out of £1.5m which they cannot afford.
Burnley - Shit. And can't afford to sack Laws who I can't believe they appointed in the first place. Their decent players will be back in the PL with sides like Blackburn and Bolton.
Coming up
Norwich - When have Norwich ever been that good? Not much of a different side to the one that was relegated. No cash to spend on big players.
Leeds - Well, I imagine they will struggle to be honest. Still don't have loads of cash available and I wouldnt be surprised if Beckford still left this summer if a PL team comes in for him.
Expect top half from both of them though for some reason.
Any of the play off teams will be like Burnley were this year in the PL. Who have we got? Millwall, Charlton, Swindon and Huddersfield. Charlton should be favourites but can see Huddersfield "doing a Blackpool and getting to the final.
There arent any massive teams left in the Championship, its anyones to play for. I can see Reading being one of the favourites after the way they have turned around end of season. Where did they finish, 8th/9th after being in the bottom 3 in Jan? Sheff U, Ipswich, Borough, there isn't anybody to fear in this league now. Cardiff could still be screwed, they havent secured investment yet and I wouldnt be surprised if those chinks didnt bother until they know Cardiff are or are not in the PL. Forest will be shit next year, in fact Billy Davis will probably quit over the summer, he's a weird bloke.

Re: Championship Next Season
Fuck off burnley are coming back up next season if we can beat spurs and man united
and draw again man city we can beat any team in the championship and we aren't in debt so if we do sell
any players we'll be able to buy new one's anyway i think we'll keep nugent and fox and yeah looks like laws will be staying
but he's a championship manager so i have no doubts.

Burnely will challenge, as will Reading and Boro I think. Sheff Utd will be in the play offs. I just can't see Leicester getting automatic promotion.

Re: Championship Next Season
He left Wednesday by mutual consent after a shit run of results last season. Then they got relegated. They were lucky to stay up when we went down 2 years ago. If we had beat them at home in out last home game of the season we were safe and it was between them and someone else, but unfortunately we had shitty Ian Holloway in charge, who had no idea what he was doing at Leicester...BlacKBlazE wrote:any players we'll be able to buy new one's anyway i think we'll keep nugent and fox and yeah looks like laws will be staying

You've had your fun mate. Beating Spurs and Man Utd, that was last season, you have to play proper football now. Going to shit grounds like Selhurst Park and the Walkers. I hope Burnley won't challenge. Because then Laws will probably get sacked lol, i just dont like the bloke. I'll can see that nobody thinks Leicester will challenge, but there is no reason why we cant.
You will keep Nugent, because he's pretty pants and nobody else wants him. He'll turn good again given a run in the champ though. Wouldnt be surprised to see fox, eagles, fletcher all fuck off back to Prem.

Re: Championship Next Season
Selhurst ain't shit, it has character and atmosphere, something all the new plastic grounds are missing.
You can't hold on to beating Spurs and Man Utd. Palace drew to Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool, Spurs as well as beating Spurs away from home and we were sent down due to the last game of the season after Portsmouth fielded a piss take of a team to make sure Southampton went down which meant that WBA stayed up instead of us, was a joke and the Premier League should of stepped in but of course they didn't because we weren't one of the big 4.

Re: Championship Next Season
Although laws has had a shit run i just think the spurs result was the form we had a long time coming
i think laws and the players have ust got their act together now plus some of the results were bullshit like the blackburn dive penny
and terry jumping on the back of our player if that was the other way round it would have been a free kick.
Granted i know last season is last season aslong as that sell-out cunt coyle stays away there is no problem
because we won't sell to blackburn and i wouldn't think we'd sell to bolton.. The only person i can see leaving is fletcher and alexander retiring.
Overall i see us being one of the better teams and with the premier league experiance coming back.

Re: Championship Next Season
I know Selhurst isnt shit I was joking lol.
Walkers is tacky though, so crap to get an atmosphere in there.
Blaze, you got to admit though, you have on shit defence. If Laws is going to stay on he needs to sign some decent centre backs. You can have Wayne Brown from us if you like
Oh yeah, forgot to say. You can't really call Coyle a sell out. If he gets Bolton playing well and climbing the table he will end up in charge of Everton or something next. Bolton are - unfortunately for you - a bigger club than Burnley. You can't blame him for going there instead of more than likely being relegated again with you. Especially when he had played for them before as well.
