According to Wikipedia he isn't managing anyone. Also doesn't say that he was sacked, looks like he left after all the racial abuse stuff hit the papers.

I remember Dave Bassett managed Palace for 4 or 5 days then left the club. Martin Allen was given too much time, he was never the right man for the job.

He supposedly wasn't sacked from Leicester, but he obviously did something fucked up because he had to stay quiet about what atually happened and he didnt get a full whack pay off. Rumour was that when Clive Clarke had a heart attack against Forest at half time, it was something to do with Allen. Claims he punched the bloke and all sorts came out. Anyway, he never managed us again put it that way. The match was abandoned after that at half time.

We were 1-0 down at half time when the match was abandoned so the city players let their keeper walk the ball in at the start of the replay.

Fair play. If only the cunts at Bristol City had done the same for us when Freddy Sears scored. There wouldn't of been 6,000 Palace fans shitting themselves at Hillsborough.
