I saw this yesterday but I didn't post it as no one really knows what it is. Some people have implied it is a fan film whereas others have said it is an official teaser.

Game? Film? Both? Mortal Kombat looks back with a vengeance. Somethig the media severely needs (and possibly the gaming media more than most) is a blockbuster like this.
I never had a mega drive poor me, so my mortal kombat skills were limited most of the time to the arcade, but man, fond memories

i had it on the snes, hate the sega MK and SF stupid 3 button crap. Hard to say if its a really good fanmade or not, I mean the trailer shows a lot if it is the film. + the only release date i can find is 2013 and cant find the director for the life of me

If they manage to make a feature film out of the short using the same sort of story and keep it that good for 90-120 minutes then top respect and a truely awesome film.
