cock fucking thing is only about 3 months old... died sort of ..well windows wouldnt work properly... couldnt repair either...so i lost all my files on it.... i put it in a caddy and it says its ok after re-formatting it... but im not holding out much hope i bought a western digital ivory black one instead..

LG don't make hard drives. Do you mean an external hard drive? If so that may have a Western Digital in it anyway. These things happen and you need to keep a backup of your files through other means.

no internal.. maybe it was the samsung one then... i didnt read the label when i put it in the caddy...

also this happened when i formatted it ??

how do i get rid of that???

I had that when I had Windows troubles ages ago and I was formatting drives etc.

looks like thats why... it never did it the first time... perhaps thats why win 7 went tits on that HD... it couldnt fix itself because the recovery info wasnt there ???
