When doing games it is best not to do any updates unless the nfo explicity says to install them.

Are you sure you have the latest crack? - http://gf.wiretarget.com/portal_2.htm

I didnt install any updates sparks, there was no essential ones required for single player, best install it with no updates. You get it working yet. Deadly game

It's probably the same folder as your desktop icon is pointing to.

Just finished it. Took around 6 hours to complete the single player.

Characters and voice acting is superb throughout.

yeah apart from the bin folder in the crack.. which is two files and is meant to go in portal2/portal2/bin... the rest just go into the portal 2 folder....

just getting different missing dll message and no steam message ..or steam validation rejected....

Played through a fair amount of the co-op (think I only have 4-5 missions left).

First person I connected to was great, both first timers and went through all of it (minus those 4-5 as they had to go off).

Connected to a russian person next who couldn't get passed the training mission, next one disconnected, next one was retarded, next one was afk then disconnected then the last one was shit then disconnected.
