I've been hovering ebay, to be honest they'r all proper shite and the 6 month old ones that are any good usually go for £70-80 with packaging fee. So I was thinking of this....

To be honest any of those monitors will be fine, just don't expect it to be as good as a £400 monitor.

Re: AoP as a clan
Well what about this? £84? I know its VGA and it would have been nice to have DVI at least, but £84 with 1920 res and 21 inches of real estate...
http://www.ebuyer.com/196524-lg-21-5-w2 ... -w2246s-bf
http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-W2246S-BF-in ... 446&sr=1-1
The other I looked at is this, its an old range LG, 23" with VGA, DVI, HDMI connections. And an apparently cool on/off switch...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-W2361V-23-in ... 319&sr=1-1
The 22" has gone up in price since I looked this morning by £15....
http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-W2261V-monit ... 319&sr=1-3
The question is, will the extra £50 be justified or will I still be looking at a new monitor if I buy a new rig in the next say, 18 months? Or would I be ebtter off just buying the £80 monitor which would greatly help me out over these summer months And ive never had the luxury of anything better than a VGA connection anyway...

Re: AoP as a clan
Just go for the cheapest one if you're going to buy a better one when you buy the new computer
Re: AoP as a clan
If you want a monitor that you will keep, don't get the LG W2246S-BF, technical spec isn't very good.
Either of the latter 2 are quite good on paper.
Remember when you do get a new rig you likely won't have VGA (would need to use an adapter). You will mostly likely have HDMI (and come with a HDMI->DVI dongle).

Re: AoP as a clan
So basically its the £130 LG or £100 BenQ
£30 for inch and half and HDMI connection.
