Southampton are also playing a fair amount of youth players too though.

West Ham although they didn't spend a lot of money they still have a Premier League squad. Don't know what Middlesborough did in the summer.

True! They are after jay rodriguez from us aswell
I don't think west ham are doing as well as they should be and middlesborough won't be doing much they've really fucked themselves since being relegated
from premier league.

West Ham should be top. They need to get rid of Fat Sam and get someone else in who will actually play football to the players strengths.

Well we just loost a game tcompletely against the run of play. 25 yarder from fookin Leeds. Didn't go but we should have won the game and control for pretty much the whole match. Oh well.

Southampton have spent a bit of cash yeah but they haven't brought in "big names" so to speak. We signed Beckford and we'd have probably been better of buying some along the lines of Billy Sharp.

It is completely different to the premier league and buying "premier league players" and trying to make a team around it just doesn't work. Man U, Man City or Barcelona obviously would beat every team in this league but taking a couple of their players and dropping them into the Burnley team isn't going to guarantee success.

Southampton haven't bought big name players but they've bought what i'd consider average premier league players / Decent championship players.
If burnley kept eagles, mears, cork, fox and mcdonald and obviously judas cunt coyle we'd be a top team :? I think beckford rates himself along with a lot of other people too highly he's only ever been good for leeds and i hate to say that and most people only think he's good because he had 1 good game against man united.

I disagree about the whole best teams will beat the lower teams all the time because you never know although it is very unlikely the underdog will win.
Burnley beat quite a few decent teams for the year we spent in the premier league and didn't you lot draw against real madrid?

Beating a big side means squat if you can't beat the teams around you.

In Palace's history when we have had great results such as beating Man Utd 5-0 years and years ago, we still got relegated. It's the tally at the end of the season that matters.

That's true, I can't really argue with that.
