I loaded the same game and had time to go upstairs for a piss and come down and it was still loading then once it had loaded it looked like Borderlands (cel-shaded) compared to the PC version.
See, you should never have playe the PC version yet. The graphics are terrible and I am glad I can't compare it to the PC version. The only time I ever want that to happen is if I am installing it on my own pc
With a 10 ft HDMI lead into my tv lol

It's still fine though, I still enjoy playing the old 2D sprite Final Fantasy games so a cel-shaded game on the Xbox is nothing to complain about.
Although since the last update, a lot of NPC's are just spinning on the spot with no model animation. And another NPC was half way across the map when I saw him then when I got back to Whiterun (using the road), he was already back although no horse had been present and a clone of him was right next to him but he was buried in the ground with only his hip upwards showing.
Oh well, 66 hours in now and level 43. Got shit loads of enchanted daggers to sell but the limited funds on the shops is annoying.
The extortionate price your offered for shit is really annoying. As a result i have chests full of crap. No idea how long i am into it. Havent played it in ages.
You can some good gear to increase your speechcraft and prices to get reasonable value for the items.
Enchanted daggers with a value of ~800 normally sold for 260-300 but with an amulet with +15 speechcraft and helmet with 20% better prices, I was getting 400 for them.
After around 10 hours play and being level 10 Breton using mostly magic i decided to restart. I was getting raped by almost everything. Not enough good gear and the npc's were far too powerful.
So I went Breton again (just because I hate imperials and wanted someone normal looking) and have got up to around level 7. Going Sneak, Archery, Light Armour route with blacksmithing and enchanting on the side. If i play enough I will give alchemy a few points as well. Now I am at level 7 though I feel I am levelling too fast again. I stupidly took the thief stone so my skills were levelling too quick compared to the others. I'm gonna take the mage sign I think and run around casting conjure spells on a few things. I don't want to level anymore until I have a few more items. Although I have heard the levelling slows down a lot later? Any thoughts? It's just as if the world levels up quicker than you, especially when dodging the main questline. I had three hired thugs start on me in riverwood and they were rock hard to take down. Yet I had the same situation on my previous save and I burnt them down with a few destruction spells with ease. Although destruction is stupidly powerful to start

Slows down later on although didn't notice much slow down until around level 30 or so.
You can change the difficulty at any stage of the game by going in to settings then set it back up when you are finding it easier.
I also had the thief stone originally but stayed level 2 or 3 for quite a while as I forgot to level up when given the chance (would of been level 6 otherwise) and didn't find the game much of a problem (left it at adept difficulty). Although it says level up, just don't level up until you are ready.
When I got to around level 20 or so, I found I was getting owned by some ultra powerful mages up in some mountain range so put it down to apprentice and got through them and forgot to change it until I was level 28 or so when I thought the game was exceptionally easy, I'll move it up to master.
I found gear you pick up is shit, best stuff you make yourself. You can get a quick smithing level-up by talking to some of the blacksmiths who give you free items to make certain items which you get to keep (an iron dagger and something else).
Alchemy is apparently a great way to make money once you have leveled up a fair bit, some potions are valued at over 2000 from simple ingredients.
The world is supposed to level up at the same rate as you but some are harder than others, just part of the game. A lot of the game was made for you to go through with a companion who do make the game ever so slightly easier.
Oh and there is no need to focus on leveling up magica if you are going to be a melee character you can just get 100 enchanting and enchant some cloth gear so you don't use any magica.
Just seen that some people are making a Skyrim MMO mod.
35+ the leveling slows WAY down. Takes an age to go up a lvl. I went same as you Rev, sneak/archer and also took theif stone. I can crouch infront of people and they just walk by. In a way its cool but you sacrafice a lot of Armour ( which makes a HUGE difference now that i have the Dragonscale ). Only thing is i can put any enchants on cause my enchanting is shit. Started again with a mage, and yeah i agree, stupidy powerfull early game.

Problem I had with my Mage was that the spells didn't seem to scale. The fire/frost "channel" spells f you like, do 8 dps and always do 8 dps. I liked them because aiming is hard enough without a mouse and spamming fireballs or whatever they're called when you reach about level 6/8 just pissed me off when I kept missing lol! I don't mind missing with arrows cos I just run and hide and have shot loads cos thy weigh nothing.

i dont even bother pickin back up the arrows. you amass thousands of them just by looting shit. Im starting to see more dragons now than any other mob. Cant fast travel to a city without seeing one.
I'm up to level 11 on my sneaky archer character and might have to notch the difficulty up a tad. The worst thing is with some of the poor graphics on Xbox when it gets dark making out mobs is bloody hard work and makes stealth completely pointless as you run into them!
