just tried it out... sry rev i know you like it ..and i thought because i used to play dungeons and dragons.. yes with dice and maps and shit.. proper nerd stuff back in the 1980s.... but even that was more exciting than this... and it didnt really help i picked a girl character so wifey may play it if she wanted...

It's shit now. I haven't played it in well over a year. I logged in maybe 6 months ago because it offered me 10 days free with the cataclysm expansion. I lasted about 5 minutes.
Truth is the game has been shit ever since the first expansion came out. Each expansion and some large patches on the way changed it all so much. It is actually unrecognisable from how it started a those years ago!
"Vanilla" WoW was amazing and I genuinely have some great memories from wasting many childhood days lol. But now te game is shit. I've gone off the whole mmo thing all together really. I was excited for The Old Republic but haven't bothered with it. I was reading about it being playable as single player and thought I might give it a whirl, but ultimately the best rewards come from playing in groups and as soon as I read that... I had nightmares of "Looking for Group" and "can anyone help with..." appearing in the chat log!

Will be the same for every MMO yet to come. Even with the dungeon/raid tool in WoW now you still get that "LFG" all the time.
The very first thing i seen in chat when i logged onto ToR last night was LFG. All i could do was laugh
