A bit too close though. They had the majority of possession and we hardly had any chances on goal. Their goal was disallowed due to the ref being shit and giving them a corner when it didn't touch anyone.

Missed various fouls early on and had his back to long parts of the match.

Well at all the games I'e been to this season the chant "We only get shit refs" is about the most popular. The standard or refereeing has been terrible in the champ this season. Would have thought the Carling Cup would get a Prem Ref? Who was it?

This season has been particular bad on the referee front although they tend to be bad for both sides whereas last season they tended to be against us.

You can't give a corner, realise you were wrong then blow up for a foul when absolutely nothing is happening in the box. The only possible thing he could of disallowed the goal for was because Mason was resting his arm on Speroni's back, not even pulling his shirt. Speroni wasn't complaining nor anyone around him.

But we won, so I guess I shouldn't complain.
