FFX

Post by skeletor »

Was browsing through a box under my bed yesterday and found FFX and FFXII.

Decided to boot the old PS2 up and have a play of it. Went to load previous game but memory card wasn't showing up so I assumed it didn't have a save game on it. Started a new one and got to the first save point, went to save. Turns out the memory card I had in there was a PS1 one. Turned the PS2 off in frustration and ordered a new PS2 one off eBay as I know I'll never find my old one.

But it really hasn't coped well in the graphics department, I think FFIX looks better.

IX (from my memory at least) looks better than X.

Waiting for new memory card to arrive then start up X again.

To be fair I haven't played FFIX on my TV (only ever played it on a small 16" TV).

But from memory the Bahamut vs Alexandre FMV was better than at least the opening FMVs with Auron in FFX.

Edit: I'm not a r-tard.

Further edit: I'm not blind.

Further further edit: FFVI is the best in the series.

Further further further edit: I also found the Dirge of Cerberus game too.

Dirge is a bad BAD game man. But its worth a play as it ties in some scenes from FFVII. You made me wanna play X again

I'm pretty sure I finished FFX, but I really can't remember. Same with FFXII. Guess I would need to find my old memory card with my save files on to find out.

I remember sitting down one day to play GoW2 and finally finish it, loaded up my old save only to watch the final cut scene and credits as I had already completed it and had forgotten.

I also bought and downloaded all the additional DLC for FFXIII-2. Tried to fight the Pupu's from FFVIII but failed miserably. Haven't tried the Typhon and Ultros or Gilgamesh ones yet.

Ha.

XIII isn't actually that bad of a game. The tutorial which lasts 20 hours was a bit annoying but overall it was OK.

Doubt my memory card will arrive until Monday so will have to continue with my CSS map or mow my lawn. If it arrives, I doubt I will be doing anything but playing FFX. Should be able to get quite far in around 20 hours of game play. Might even try to make out my characters as I have seen a trick on getting shit loads of AP in a short amount of time.
